How do you integrate Feng Shui into Western Economics?
As the small business, especially like hair salons or nail spa, owners always struggle to keep clients flow consistent. And, if you follow certain faith or believe system, but do not want to compromise your lifestyle, you can, sometimes, run into cultural difference conflicts. How do you avoid this or at least minimize loss, if your business is very culturally designated?
There are couple of things you can do as a Feng Shui practitioner or dharma business owner. First your establish our business within or near the community who at least supports your basic values. And you train your customers from the beginning to value YOUR SCHEDULE. Find a unique service your offer and never change your pattern, establish your values from the beginning. As a beauty or hair spa owner, for example, you can offer to ONLY be OPEN on Auspicious days, and ALWAYS closed on Unauspicious days. Establish your calendar for at least 3 months in advance, so clients can have your schedule. People who value your service will be ok with this. Double benefit of this schedule? You earn double on Auspicious days.
Why does this cultural integration is even matter? Many people talk about, making difference in the society, taking loud actions, strikes, political movements, but they often forget that Green Change comes from research and RESPECT for the NATURAL elemental energies, from Space and within Earth. You have to begin small. Change every one perspective on how to live in tune with nature’s energies in urban setting. Begin within living by the Lunar Cycle and see how you feel. Start small. Start within your own family or close circle. Do not thrive to become Global overnight. Patience, sometimes pays more.
