How knowing your DNA roots can influence our lifestyle and reality perception
How knowing your DNA roots can influence our lifestyle and reality perception. Perception of Identity and Behavior Awareness of genetic ancestry and traits reshapes self-perception by framing personality and behavior as partly biologically rooted yet environmentally modifiable.
Research indicates that polygenic scores can predict aspects of income, education, and personality (such as conscientiousness or extraversion), suggesting that life outcomes are influenced by inherited factors. However, experts emphasize that genes do not determine destiny; instead, they create tendencies that interact with environmental factors like upbringing, education, and social context.
Personally for me , finding out who I may be was? … an actual cultural shock. Not only do I not have living relatives to ask how and why, but it turned out that majority of my life was spent as a complete illusion. You wake up one day and realize “OMG, I have no clue who my real parents or grandparents are???” And behind this question now only silence. I am Scandinavian Germanic-European, now what?
Very cool interesting facts about my Ancient DNA codes:
Late Pleistocene human genome suggests a local origin for the first farmers of central Anatolia, Turkey. Anatolian Hunter-Gatherer (~15,000 years ago): Genomic data indicates high genetic continuity between late Pleistocene hunter-gatherers and early farmers in central Anatolia, suggesting that agriculture was adopted locally rather than introduced by migrating farming populations.
I came all the way back from the … Ice Age? as * Anatolian Hunter-Gatherer | GOBS6 Pleistocene
I was a Pottery Artist in Germany Saxony-Anhalt, Germany | GOBS15 Mesolithic II
I was also a Stone Technologist in Sweden | GOBS14 Mesolithic II
I was Black-Haired Hunter-Gatherer in Britain England, United Kingdom | GOBS9 Mesolithic I
I was a Świętokrzyskie, Poland Ancient War Victim in Poland | GOBS21 Early Bronze Age
This means my DNA code possibly met the Mammoth when they were alive, it is two million year old. How cool is that?
Approximately 15,000 years ago, Earth was emerging from the Last Glacial Maximum, the peak of the Pleistocene ice age.
Glacial Retreat: The massive Laurentide Ice Sheet covering North America and the Scandinavian Ice Sheet in Europe were beginning to melt and retreat after reaching their maximum extent around 20,000 years ago.
Sea Level Rise: As ice melted, global sea levels began to rise significantly from their low point, flooding coastal areas and land bridges like Beringia that had connected Asia and North America.
Beringia is a prehistoric geographical region, defined as the land and maritime area bounded on the west by the Lena River in Russia; on the east by the Mackenzie River in Canada; on the north by 72° north latitude in the Chukchi Sea; and on the south by the tip of the Kamchatka Peninsula. It includes the Chukchi Sea, the Bering Sea, the Bering Strait, the Chukchi and Kamchatka peninsulas in Russia as well as Alaska in the United States and Yukon in Canada.
“Today the only remaining land visible from the central part of the Bering land bridge are the Diomede Islands, the Pribilof Islands of St. Paul and St. George, St. Lawrence Island, and King Island. Long after the land bridge was submerged, the peoples of Beringia remain united by languages, traditions, and their environment.” - (according to NPS)
Świętokrzyskie Period of Poland Ancient War was related to Marcomannic Wars.
