Your self discovery begins with finding your MAIN or DAY MASTER element. Once you make your birth bazi chart, this element is the Heavenly stem of the Day you are born in, based on HOUR, DAY, MONTHS & YEAR Combination. 

After you discover your day master, you can also determine which luck cycle you are currently living: Forward Cycle (progressive) or Reverse Cycle (regressive). This cycle depends on person's original biological gender and polarity of the birth year. For example, person born in 2004 is considered to be a Yang Person, because 2004 was a Yang Year. While person born in 1975 is considered to be a Yin Person, because 1975 was a Yin Year. Every female born in Yin year is living Forward Cycle, while male born in Yin years lives reverse cycle. On contrary, female born in 2004, which is Yang year, living the Reverse cycle, while male born in 2004 is living Forward.

Next, find your "Friends & Foes"

Once you know your Day Master element, you can located elements, that are your enemies & friends, so to speak. If you need to know, what "the Earth Penalty" is ~ email me.

When discovering strength and weakness of your day master, you can also determine which element is the most beneficial for you. Strength and weakness of each Day Master element depends on the Season during you were born and cycle of the elements. For example, if you are Wood element, born in June, which is season of Fire element, you are a week Wood, but not extremely weak. Your most beneficial element is Water.
