What makes a Complete Human Being

  • In Vajrayana Buddhism, vows like the Six Session Guru Yoga are considered binding until death, but you can restore broken commitments through practices like Vajrasattva or by consulting your teacher.

You always have to be realistic in the modern World and in-spite of the Romanticized Nature of Vajrayana, realize that genuine Guru would not judge or call Disciple names. If you speak two or more languages, but your Guru does not bother learning more then one - be realistic, as well.

  • If the guru is untrustworthy, you are not required to maintain the vow - especially if the relationship involves manipulation or abuse. The student’s safety and integrity come first.

Silence is a valid response, if a guru demands something unethical, or if your Guru calls you mentally ill …. It is recommended to search valid authentic Gurus instead.

  • In general Buddhist thought, breaking a vow due to a flawed guru is not inherently a spiritual failure. The key is sincerity and intention.

If you took vows without proper discernment, you can reaffirm your commitment to the Dharma with a new, qualified teacher. Focus on inner integrity, ethical conduct, and support from a genuine sangha.

  • Ultimately, you are not obligated to remain under an unfit guru. Your spiritual well-being and moral clarity should guide your next steps.

Seek counsel from trusted, qualified teachers or communities to ensure a safe and authentic path forward. It is absolutely fine to break relationships with people, who consider your practice mental illness, after they taught it. If you paid substantial sponsorship fees for the teachings it is ok to request a full refund and never to return.

Just say: “He is no longer my Guru, but I will remain with the deity through the valid teacher” and move on.

Main point is - if you understand Empty Nature of the Mind, not just assume you do and fake it, you will know what and how to do right. All Buddhas are the One, you are following Buddha, not his fake yaksha.
